Financial power of attorney, medical power of attorney, directive to physicians, and HIPAA authorization.
Family protection documents
Guardian documents for minor children and incapacity planning documents for Texas families.
Guidance included
Attorney explainer videos, signing guidance, and one year of plan updates.
Included documents and provisions: Revocable Living Trust, Pour-Over Will, Financial Power of Attorney, Medical Power of Attorney, Directive to Physicians, HIPAA Authorization, Declaration of Guardian for Minor Children, Declaration of Guardian in the Event of Later Incapacity, Certificate of Trust, Assignment of Property and Digital Assets, standby supplemental needs trust provisions, attorney explainer videos, and signing guidance.
Special needs trust provisions are included
If you have a child or loved one with special needs, leaving an inheritance to them outright can create serious problems. Money received directly by a beneficiary can put needs-based benefits like SSI, Medicaid, Medicaid waiver services, housing assistance, or other government benefits at risk.
That can force the beneficiary to spend the inheritance down before benefits can resume, creating a dangerous gap where the money is gone but benefits are not back yet.
Avoid outright distribution
The trustee does not have to hand the inheritance directly to a beneficiary who receives or may need means-tested government benefits.
Protected trust share
The inheritance can be held in a separate discretionary trust share designed to supplement, not simply replace, available benefits.
Quality-of-life support
The trustee can use the funds for things like therapy, caregivers, transportation, dental care, technology, education, recreation, and other support.
Do not leave it to them directly. Do not disinherit them entirely.
The Texas Family Trust Plan includes standby supplemental needs trust provisions so the money you leave for a child or loved one with special needs can improve their quality of life and last longer.
What information do we need to create your plan?
Less than most people expect. Texan Wills and Trusts does not need your most sensitive personal or financial information to create your Texas Family Trust Plan.
What we generally need
Names, addresses, phone numbers, relationship information, and who you want to serve in important roles like trustee, executor, guardian, agent, or beneficiary.
What we do not ask for
No Social Security numbers, birth dates, bank account numbers, investment account numbers, account balances, immigration status, tax returns, financial statements, medical records, or passwords.
No financial inventory required
Your assets are not listed inside the trust document itself. We do not need your private account numbers or account balances to create your estate plan.
Funding the trust happens after your trust is signed.
Creating the trust and funding the trust are two different steps. First, you create and sign your trust. Then, after the trust exists, you can connect assets to it through the paperwork for each asset, such as bank forms, brokerage forms, deeds, title paperwork, or beneficiary designations. We provide detailed funding instructions, but we do not need your private financial information to generate your documents.
We are not using your information to sell financial products.
Texan Wills and Trusts is not collecting your financial details to sell investments, insurance, annuities, retirement products, or other financial products. We are not asking for your account balances so we can size you up for an upsell, and we are not using the questionnaire as a lead form to pass you to someone trying to sell financial products.
Payment security
Payments are handled through Stripe. Texan Wills and Trusts does not store your full credit card number, debit card number, or bank account number on our systems.
Stripe states that it uses high security measures for payment processing, including PCI Service Provider Level 1 certification, which Stripe describes as the most stringent certification level available in the payments industry. Stripe also states that it mandates HTTPS/TLS for secure connections, encrypts sensitive data in transit and at rest, and tokenizes card numbers inside Stripe’s infrastructure.
You can read Stripe’s security information here: Stripe security documentation.
The safest sensitive information is the information we never collect in the first place.

Built by Texas estate planning attorneys who see these problems in real life.
This system was built after seeing families run into avoidable problems with probate, beneficiary designations, incomplete planning, special needs inheritance issues, and documents that did not match what the family actually needed.
You may have already seen Austin explaining these issues on social media. This product was built from that same real-world experience, but organized into a step-by-step online system for Texas families.
