Platform Provider

TexanWillsandTrusts.com is operated by TexLaw Technologies, LLC.

Texan Wills and Trusts is an online Texas-specific estate planning document generation platform.

Texan Wills and Trusts is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice or legal representation.

No attorney-client relationship is created through your use of this website or services.

Self-Directed Use

Our platform provides automated document assembly tools based on user input. All selections, decisions, and entries are made solely by you.

Texan Wills and Trusts does not:

• Provide legal advice
• Recommend strategies
• Determine suitability of provisions
• Review user responses for legal sufficiency
• Assess tax consequences
• Customize documents beyond automated inputs

You are solely responsible for reviewing your completed documents before signing.

Separate Legal Services

Attorney consultations and reviews are provided, if elected, by Book Law Firm, a separate legal entity.

Any legal services provided by Book Law Firm are governed by a separate engagement agreement between you and Book Law Firm.

Such services are not part of the Texan Wills and Trusts platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract to use this platform.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

You are responsible for all activity occurring under your account.

You agree to provide accurate and complete information when using the platform.

4. Fees and License

License Grant

Upon purchase, you are granted a personal, non-transferable, limited license to use the platform for one year from the date of purchase.

During this period, you may make updates and generate revised documents.

Subscription Renewal

Your license will automatically renew at the stated annual rate unless canceled prior to renewal.

You may cancel renewal at any time before the renewal date to prevent future charges.

5. 7-Day Satisfaction Guarantee

Texan Wills and Trusts offers a 7-Day Satisfaction Guarantee on its document generation products.

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may request a refund within seven (7) calendar days of the original purchase date.

To request a refund, you must contact us in writing through our Contact Page within seven (7) calendar days of purchase.

If approved, TexLaw Technologies, LLC will refund the purchase price paid for the product, less non-refundable third-party payment processing fees charged by providers such as Stripe or PayPal.

This Satisfaction Guarantee applies only to document generation products sold by Texan Wills and Trusts.

It does not apply to:

• Attorney consultations, attorney reviews, or legal services provided by Book Law Firm
• Services governed by a separate agreement with Book Law Firm
• Subscription renewal charges

Except as provided under this 7-Day Satisfaction Guarantee, all purchases are final and non-refundable.

6. Execution and Funding Responsibility

You are solely responsible for:

• Properly signing your documents
• Obtaining required witnesses or notarization
• Funding any trust created
• Updating beneficiary designations
• Ensuring compliance with Texas law

Texan Wills and Trusts does not guarantee avoidance of probate. Probate outcomes depend on asset titling and proper execution.

7. Third-Party Acceptance

Texan Wills and Trusts cannot guarantee that any bank, financial institution, court, or other third party will accept or honor your documents.

Acceptance decisions are made independently by those institutions.

8. No Tax or Financial Advice

Texan Wills and Trusts does not provide tax advice or financial advice.

Any information regarding taxes, asset values, or financial matters is provided for general educational purposes only.

9. Privacy and Data Security

We collect information necessary to generate your documents.

Information is processed using secure third-party service providers.

While we use commercially reasonable safeguards, no system can guarantee absolute security.

10. Intellectual Property

All website content, software, and templates are owned by TexLaw Technologies, LLC.

You may not copy, resell, distribute, or modify platform materials except for personal use of your generated documents.

11. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer or copy the platform
• Use automated scraping tools
• Resell or distribute templates
• Misrepresent your identity

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TexLaw Technologies, LLC shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive, or special damages.

In no event shall total liability exceed the amount you paid for the product giving rise to the claim.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TexLaw Technologies, LLC from claims arising from:

• Your use of the platform
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your improper execution or use of documents

14. Dispute Resolution

You agree that any dispute arising from use of this platform shall first be addressed through informal written resolution.

If unresolved, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Collin County, Texas, under the Federal Arbitration Act.

You waive the right to participate in any class action or jury trial.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.

Venue for arbitration or court proceedings shall be Collin County, Texas.

16. Access After Death

Access to a deceased user’s account may be granted only upon receipt of legally sufficient documentation demonstrating authority to act on behalf of the deceased.

17. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of those changes.
