Who creates our content
Our articles are written or edited by people with direct experience in Texas estate planning and probate. The named author appears on each article. Our principal author is Austin B. Butts, JD, a Texas-licensed attorney whose practice background includes wills, trusts, probate, and estate administration.
When a separate attorney has reviewed a specific article for legal accuracy, the article may identify that reviewer and the review date. We do not imply that a separate review occurred when it did not.
How we research legal information
